Service Description

Group spiritual direction is a chance to explore your spiritual experience within a small group setting carefully facilitated by a trained spiritual director. These groups will include times of reflection on a reading or a poem, periods of silent reflection, an invitation for each person to share from their own life, and for others to listen deeply and reflect noticing in the form of questions for each person to consider. This is a sacred time of trust, where everyone pays attention to the movement and presence of Spirit among us. Over the summer we are offering these groups as single experiences, ideal for those who are new to try it out. In fall and spring, these groups will be offered in a series with a four-month commitment. Groups will require a minimum registration of three and a maximum of five per group. This group is offered at the Franciscan Spiritual Center offices in San Damiano. Facilitated by Ann Steigerwald. Date: Thursday, August 15, 10:00-12:00pm PDT. Group size: 3-6 participants. Cost $40
