Book Study: Sacred Earth.. Evenings

Join the Franciscan Spiritual Center book group on January 13, 2025, to begin the new year reading Celtic wisdom in Newell's "Sacred Earth, Sacred Soul". In this nine-week discussion, we explore nine teachers who invite us to the Celtic way of seeing. Each chapter reveals the roots of the connection between pre-Christian belief and the Cosmic Christ. Richard Rohr says, “in this book, Newell reaches new depths in his vision of the earth and the human journey. We need this Celtic wisdom urgently”. Terry Cappiello (our book group facilitator) is a board member and retreat leader with the Franciscan Spiritual Center as well as a former mental health counselor, special education teacher, and college professor. She is gifted and inclusive in her capacity to draw people into discussion. This is a 9-week course meeting on Mondays, starting January 13, 2025 Two different time slots are offered: 3:30-5pm or 6:30-8pm. Cost: $90 This class is fully online via Zoom.
