i am not here to compete i am here to grow and be free Yung Pueblo's words invite us to gather as individuals held in community, free to explore the unique ways God communes with each of us through the lens of creative writing. This monthly writing collective is an intentional space for those looking to journey in community over the course of five months. Through the use of visual arts, music, and a variety of contemplative prayer, we will peel back layers and welcome to the page whatever it is God longs to reveal from within. Please note that our journey together is about exploring writing as a spiritual practice and is not intended to teach writing skills. Each gathering will offer gentle guidance along with quiet times of reflection, and the freedom to explore ways that best fit where we are in the moment. *If you attended the October Writers' Retreat, this will be a continuation of that time, not a repeat of the same material. However, attendance at the October Writers' Retreat is not necessary to participate in this new gathering space. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible while also supporting our program facilitators and covering essential costs. Standard Programs: Refunds are available if you either cancel your booking via our website or notify us in writing (info@francisspctr.com) 11 days or more before the program’s published start date. Please include your name, program name, and contact information. Special Programs: Some offerings—such as overnight retreats, off-site events, or programs involving outside vendors—may have stricter cancellation deadlines. These will be noted in the program description. Center Cancellations: If the Franciscan Spiritual Center must cancel a program, you will receive a full refund via your original payment method.
