Take some time to step away from the busyness of the season and journey with St. Joseph and one another this Advent! What wisdom do we glean from Saint Joseph, who has not one spoken word in Scripture, and how does this wisdom speak to our lives today? Who is this man, who Pope Francis said “goes unnoticed, a daily, discreet and hidden presence,” yet who plays “an incomparable role in the history of salvation?” How do Joseph’s “yeses” invite us deeper into the Christmas narrative and into our own lives with God? How might following in Joseph’s footsteps carry us into this Advent season and beyond? Explore these and other ponderings during our Advent Morning of Reflection. Our time together will include prayer, preached reflection, and time for silent reflection and prayer. Bring a notebook if you like to write! Special Programs: Some offerings—such as overnight retreats, off-site events, or programs involving outside vendors—may have stricter cancellation deadlines. These will be noted in the program description. Center Cancellations: If the Franciscan Spiritual Center must cancel a program, you will receive a full refund via your original payment method.
