Group Spiritual Direction: Taste and See

Service Description

Interested in group spiritual direction? These single introductory sessions offer an opportunity to explore the practice in a welcoming and guided setting. The session begins with an introduction to the seven foundational practices of group spiritual direction, followed by a facilitated experience where participants can engage in the practice together. Under the guidance of a Franciscan spiritual director, the group will be offered a reflective prompt. Each participant will have a short, uninterrupted time to share what arises from the prompt or from their own spiritual reflection. Others in the group will then be invited to respond in a way that supports and deepens the speaker’s reflection. The session concludes with a closing blessing. These sessions are appropriate for all levels of experience, including those new to spiritual direction. Both in-person and online options are available.
