Post-truth is a time when objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief. Living in a post-truth society or culture requires that we be actively pro-truth in order to feel trust in ourselves and be agents for positive change in the word at large. In this workshop we will explore: how to restore lost trust; the three truths (personal, cultural and higher/greater truth) and the role truthfulness plays in our ability to trust; the role disenfranchised grief can play in lost trust; and methods for self-inquiry as well as practices for letting go of fear, confusion and stress during challenging times.
