A Day of Centering Prayer

Service Description

The morning format will include three periods of Centering Prayer and a shared Lectio Divina exercise. The doors will open at 9am, the program begins at 9:30 and ends by 12:30pm. For all of you with an existing contemplative practice, this is an opportunity to meet with others and benefit from the expertise of Contemplative Outreach-trained and commissioned facilitators. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Centering Prayer, a brief introduction to this prayer method will be offered at 9am. For more information contact Janis Carlson at jnscarlson@gmail.com.
