Becoming a Person of Peace
Nobody can bring you peace, but yourself because you are the path to peace - both within and without. And we hope that the contents of this course will help you awaken a little bit more to who you are...and how peace is wanting to live in and through you in this world.
This new program utilizes Podia and will send you emails automatically and the entire program can be done at your leisure.
Universal Christ Book Study
What difference does it make in our world that “Christ” is not Jesus’ last name? Does an understanding of “God everywhere in all things” have any meaning for the 21st Century Pacific Northwest? Franciscan Richard Rohr unpacks his understanding of the implications of these questions his book, “The Universal Christ.” Indeed, he considers the implications so important that he subtitles the guide to his book, “How a forgotten reality can change everything we see, hope for, and believe.” Join our facilitated group study of this book to see where you stand on these issues.

Monthly Taizé Service
If you feel stuck at home and need to get the musical part of your brain working again or need to reinvigorate your spirituality, you might consider joining the live stream Taizé service. The live stream will be on FSC's Facebook page at Taizé prayer where musical phrases are repeated over and over to quiet the mind and heart in order that the song may become prayer. The ebb and flow of chanting and silence is enhanced by a scripture reading and prayer.

Workshops: The Winter Sacred Garden
It is time to put our gardens to bed, but you can still design a beautiful winter garden with color, statuary and light. With a little creative effort, you can turn a small or large space into an artistic, meditative garden that will lift your spirits through the long, dark winter months. Join us as we explore winter gardening. Please bring a journal/pen to this online class.
Workshops: Advent Quiet Day
Christmas, the most important holiday to St Francis, is a time to welcome the love of God, who comes to us as a baby. The season of Advent is a time to prepare our hearts for this incredible gift. Please join us for a quiet morning to settle into a receptive space where we may be blessed, held or surprised. Prompts will be given for the times of prayer, meditation and sharing. You may wish to have a copy ofLarry’s book, The Living Nativity, as a companion for the season.
Workshops: It’s Never Too Late to Recreate Your Life
As we begin the new year, this class will guide us in reflecting on the areas of our lives where we would like to make changes. Have you felt that you could live more fully into your calling or that you are not leading the life you were meant to live. We’ll take a look at ways we can change our paths and recreate our lives. God calls us to live authentic and spiritually fulfilling lives. It’s never to late to make a change. All you need for this class is a journal/pen and an openness to transformation.
