Make a Difference 

The Franciscan Spiritual Center staff cannot make a difference in people’s lives without you, your donations and support. Each day the Center provides healing for mind, body and spirit, through retreats, workshops, spiritual direction, bodywork, prayer, classes and services to support spiritual growth, discovery and healing. Making a Difference can take several forms:

OUTRIGHT GIFTS -

Donation by Check or Credit Card

The most common and often easiest way to support FSC is to just mail your check of any amount to us: 6902 SE Lake Rd., Suite 300, Milwaukie, OR 97267 or use your credit card to make a donation.

Knowing of your on-going support gives us a great way to plan for upcoming needs. Please send us a note of your intention to provide regular support.

Gifts In Memory or In Honor

An especially meaningful gift is to give In Memory or In Honor of a family member, friend or other loved one. We will acknowledge your thoughtfulness to the appropriate person or their family.

Donate a car or other vehicle

Do you have a vehicle (car, boat, motorcycle, RV, etc.) of some kind that is taking up space? We are partnering with Portland Volunteers of America to help dispose of your vehicle and turn it into a valuable donation to FSC. A Gift of Stock

Gifts of appreciated stock or securities can be a helpful tax savings for you. Instead of paying Capital Gains, transfer the stock shares to the Franciscan Spiritual Center and qualify for tax savings. Call Joy Wallace at 504-794-8542 to initiate this type of donation.

Donate goods and services

Donating goods or services to the Franciscan Spiritual Center means that we do not have a buy the goods or services ourselves, thus providing a financial savings for us. This financial savings can then be used for program development or other budgeted items. Below is a Wish List of items you can consider.

Donate time as a Volunteer

Volunteers at the Franciscan Spiritual Center assist the staff to be organized and to provide a peaceful place for those who utilize our services. Volunteer jobs include helping to prepare for an event, assisting with hospitality at an event, assisting a staff person with office-type jobs, caring for books in the library, gift shop assistance and telephoning. If you wish to volunteer contact Joy Wallace at the Center.

DEFFERED GIFTS - PLANNED GIVING

The Franciscan Spiritual Center needs your help to plan for the future by making a donation to our endowment fund.

1. Include the Franciscan Spiritual Center in your will.

2. Designate a life insurance policy to be donated to Franciscan Spiritual Center.

3. Designate stocks or bonds to be gifted to FSC at some future date.

FSC welcomes any type of Legacy Gift: bequest in your Will or Trust; Beneficiary of a Life Insurance Policy or as recipient of your IRA, 401(k), or other pension funds.
